MIDLIFT carried out a significant extraordinary maintenance intervention on the integrated-beam bridge of the Verona–Brennero railway line, ensuring precision and safety in all phases of lifting and placing the structural elements.

For the lifting operations, the TEREX DEMAG TC 2800-1 crane was employed, with a nominal capacity of 600 tons, ideal for heavy lifting tasks in infrastructure projects.
The crane was configured with a 48-meter “light” SH/LH lattice boom and 160 tons of counterweight on the carrier, ensuring maximum stability and precision during operations.

During the intervention, the MIDLIFT crane handled the lifting and installation of railway ballast boxes, each weighing 85 tons, placing them at a maximum distance of 24 meters.
The operation required meticulous logistical planning and perfect technical coordination to guarantee adherence to schedules and full safety on the railway construction site.
